The Fort Vancouver National Trust:
Supports the park partners in their collective effort to preserve, enhance, and operate the park for public benefit through education, resource development, advocacy, community identity, programs, and cultural events.
Coordinates the Celebrate Freedom programs which include the Flag Day Ceremony, the Veterans Day Parade, the Marshall Public Leadership Award program, the Marshall Youth Leadership Award program, and the General George C. Marshall Lecture Series. We will be reworking a new, historic Independence Day celebration beginning in 2010.
Operates Pearson Air Museum and oversees event rentals as well as events such as Dancing with the Local Stars, Open Cockpit Day, Aviation Summer Camp, Christmas at Pearson Air Museum and more.
Manages retail operations at Fort Vancouver including the Fort Vancouver Bookstore and the Pearson Air Museum Bookstore.
Holds the master lease for Officers Row and West Barracks properties, which enables the Trust to oversee property operation and development on Fort Vancouver National Site.
Coordinates the park's Education Master Plan and Long Range Plan in conjunction with park partners.
Provides support to the National Park Service for educational and interpretive programs.
